Monogram microwaves,
specifically.

Monogram builds its microwaves around the installation: the ZSA1202 speedcook oven with Advantium technology that hangs above the cooking surface, the ZEB1227 microwave with 27- and 30-inch built-in kits, the ZWL1126 microwave drawer, and the Minimalist and Statement Five-in-One ovens with Advantium technology (ZSB9131, ZSB9132). Most of them pair a microwave with halogen lamps, convection or steam programs, so a visit starts by finding out which of those systems has stopped.

The Monogram lineup

What is particular
to Monogram.

We service the Monogram ZSA1202 and earlier ZSA1201 speedcook ovens mounted above the cooking surface, the ZEB1227 built-in microwave and the older ZEB1226 countertop model, the ZWL1126 microwave drawer, and the ZSB9131 and ZSB9132 Five-in-One ovens. The ZEB1227 and the Five-in-One models finished production in 2024 and are still serviced.

Speedcooking above the cooking surface

The ZSA1202 is a speedcook oven with Advantium technology that also serves as the vent above the cooking surface, and its fan starts on its own when the surface or the oven gets hot enough. Its control lock needs a 5-second hold on CANCEL/OFF, longer than most microwaves, which catches owners out.

Steam programs with food codes

The ZEB1227 has Steam Cook programs chosen by food code, including sensor steam codes such as SS-1. When a steam program ends on ERR, the usual cause is a lid or cover that kept the steam from reaching the sensor, so we look at how the dish was set up before the sensor itself.

Kits made only for the ZEB models

Monogram sells the ZX2127 and ZX2130 kits to build the ZEB1227 into a 27- or 30-inch opening and states that the kits fit only models whose numbers start with ZEB. A built-in with the wrong kit, or none, is one of the first things we check when the unit overheats.

The drawer's label hides at the back

On the ZWL1126 drawer the model and serial plate sits beyond the back wall of the cavity, visible only with the drawer pulled fully open. Having that number when you book lets us bring the right door switch or control on the first trip.

Parts

Halogen lamps, ceramic heaters and control boards for the Advantium-based models are specific to each model and can take longer to arrive than a door switch or a filter. Drawer parts for the ZWL1126 are ordered by its full model and serial number.

Repair or replace

A Monogram unit is usually built into custom cabinetry, so repairing a lamp, heater, switch or board is the normal outcome. Replacement becomes a real option when an older speedcook oven needs several major parts at once or the matching model has changed size.

Questions about
Monogram microwaves.

Why does the fan on my Monogram speedcook oven run when I'm not using it?
The ZSA1202 turns its vent fan on by itself when the surface below or the oven gets hot, and it also runs after cooking until the internal parts have cooled. It shuts off on its own; a fan that keeps running with everything cold is worth a visit.
How do I get a Monogram Advantium out of DEMO mode?
Unplug it for a minute, plug it back in without setting the clock, then hold HELP and START/PAUSE together for 3 seconds. Once it leaves DEMO, set the clock and cook as usual.
Where is the model number on a Monogram microwave drawer?
Open the drawer all the way; the plate sits past the back wall of the cavity, facing up. Read it off before you book so the visit can be planned around the right parts.
Can any trim kit be used to build in a Monogram microwave?
No. Monogram's ZX2127 and ZX2130 kits are made for the ZEB1227 and fit only models whose numbers start with ZEB.
