Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 393-5858

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Wolf's own guidance for i on its microwaves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Press Settings while the i is showing to read the tip or weight range.

02

Carry on cooking; the i does not stop or change the cycle.

03

If the display shows garbled characters or the pads stop responding along with the i, book a visit for the control.

Cleared?

The code has gone and a mug of water heats again without a new part. If it comes back this week, or the food starts coming out cold in the middle, mention in the booking that it came back.

What not to do

The i is not an alert that the drop-down door is not latched, and it is not a code for service. It will not go away with a reset, since Wolf designed it to stay with the mode.

What you may
notice with it.

The microwave problems i tends to arrive with. Answer these at the microwave before anyone is booked.

All problems

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

Something was switched on rather than something wearing out: a child or control lock set by a long press on the wrong pad, after which no key answers, a demo or showroom setting that lights the display and turns the plate while nothing warms, a Sabbath setting that dims the panel and mutes the beeps, or a clock left blinking after an outage that holds the keypad until it is set. No part is needed; a key sequence from the manual switches it off again.

In Wolf's own words

This is an "i" or Information cue to the user that there is additional information available about the mode being selected.

Questions
about i.

Can I clear i myself?
Press Settings while the i is showing to read the tip or weight range.
How do I get rid of the i on my Wolf drop-down door microwave?
You do not need to. Wolf says the i cannot be cleared; it marks a mode that has extra information and disappears when you leave that mode.
What will I see if I press Settings when the i is on my Wolf MDD?
Usually cooking tips or the weight range the mode accepts, so you can enter the right amount.
Is the i on a Wolf MDD the same as HELP on the MS24?
They do a similar job, pointing you to a hint, but the MDD uses the i while the side-swing models light the word HELP.

Still showing i?

Three details make the booking useful: the characters or beeps just as they appeared, every character of the model number, and whether a cup of water still warms up. With those, the technician arrives already halfway to the answer.
