What F2H1
actually means.
Some JennAir hood combinations put the fan and light controls on a separate switch low on the left side of the front panel. If the control loses a sensible signal from that switch, it shows F2H1, and the fan or the light over the cooking surface may stick on or stop answering.

What to do when F2H1 shows on the microwaveKind of codeFans and ventilation
A fan the microwave depends on has slowed or stopped: the cooling fan that keeps the magnetron and the board from overheating, or on a hood combination the exhaust fan that draws steam up through the grease filters. A filter packed with grease or a damper stuck shut can bring on the same warning, so a clean filter comes first; a motor that hums without turning, or a warning that returns with clean filters, is a repair.
Usually leads toMicrowave vent fan and filter repair
Bringing back the exhaust fan of a microwave hood combination, from grease filters closed with residue and a spent charcoal filter to a blower motor, a speed relay or the heat switch that starts it.
Shows up asWhat a Microwave Error Code Is Telling You
A microwave error code may be a letter and a number on the display, a lock or demo word, a row of dashes, or a beep with a blinking clock, and it can show while the microwave still heats or block every key until it is cleared.

SourceJennAir Product Help, over-the-range microwave: F2H1
From JennAir's help pages for its microwave hood combinations (Euro-style, including the convection models). The code set varies with the control generation, so a code missing from your model's manual may not apply to it.
Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from JennAir's own guidance for F2H1 on its microwaves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Turn the microwave off at the circuit breaker, count a full minute, then restore power.
Give it a minute on standby; a code that does not reappear was likely a one-time glitch, so run a short cycle to confirm.
Wipe any grease film off the lower left corner of the front where the switch sits.
If the fan runs on its own or F2H1 returns, turn the breaker off and book a visit.
Still there?
It usually turns into microwave vent fan and filter repair. Book with the code and the model number.
What not to do
F2H1 names the switch, not the fan motor, even though a dead fan and a bad switch look alike. The microwave may still heat normally while the code is showing.
What you may
notice with it.
The microwave problems F2H1 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the microwave before anyone is booked.

Built-in microwave
A microwave set into a tall cabinet or a wall of cabinetry at eye level, either a countertop body wrapped in a trim kit or a true built-in model, including speed and convection microwaves that brown as well as heat.
Microwave drawer
A microwave built under a counter or into a kitchen island that opens like a drawer at the touch of a key, with a motor and gears sliding its cavity out toward you.
In JennAir's own words
There may be a problem with the Vent Fan and Light Switch (located on the lower left front side panel) or the associated wiring.
