The speed oven's control reads two thermistors. F12 is the open-circuit reading from the one labeled low thermistor, so the control is missing half of its temperature picture and ends the cycle with a beep. SKS microwave display What to do when F12 shows on the microwave ### Kind of code Sensors and temperature The control has stopped trusting what one of its sensors reports: the cook or humidity sensor that ends a sensor reheat when steam rises, or a thermal cutout that trips when the cavity or the magnetron runs too hot. Press CLEAR/OFF to clear F12. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### My SKS speed oven showed F1 once and F12 later. Are they connected? They are two different sensors, but a shared connector or harness can affect both. Tell the technician about both codes so the wiring is checked along with each sensor. ### Does F12 on an SKS speed oven stop only convection, or microwave too? The manual does not split it by mode; it tells you to clear and reprogram. If the code keeps coming back, treat the whole unit as out of use until it is checked. ### Should I reset the breaker to clear F12 on my SKS speed oven? CLEAR/OFF is the reset the manual gives.
