The ZSA1202 speedcook oven can be left in DEMO mode after display or installation. The display lights and accepts keys, but the oven will not start. Monogram gives a short sequence to leave it. Monogram microwave display What to do when DEMO shows on the microwave ### Kind of code Mode, not a failure Something was switched on rather than something wearing out: a child or control lock set by a long press on the wrong pad, after which no key answers, a demo or showroom setting that lights the display and turns the plate while nothing warms, a Sabbath setting that dims the panel and mutes the beeps, or a clock left blinking after an outage that holds the keypad until it is set. Each step comes from Monogram's own guidance for DEMO on its microwaves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Unplug the oven or switch off its breaker for 1 minute, then restore power. 02 Do not set the clock. Press and hold HELP and START/PAUSE together for 3 seconds. 03 Once DEMO clears, set the clock and cook; if it will not leave DEMO, book a visit. ### Cleared? The code has gone and a mug of water heats again without a new part. If it comes back this week, or the food starts coming out cold in the middle, mention in the booking that it came back. ### What not to do A microwave in DEMO is not broken, even though it seems to run without heating. Unplug the oven or switch off its breaker for 1 minute, then restore power. ### Why does my new Monogram speedcook oven run but stay cold? It may have been left in DEMO mode. Follow the unplug-and-hold sequence to exit. ### Can I set the clock before leaving DEMO on a Monogram ZSA1202?
