Both the KOTR30XV hood model and the MO30STANE have a demonstration setting that runs the controls without microwave power. It exists for stores, and at home it looks like a microwave that has stopped heating. Bertazzoni microwave display · also shown as DEMO ON DURING DEMO NO OVEN POWER What to do when DEMO MODE shows on the microwave ### Kind of code Mode, not a failure Something was switched on rather than something wearing out: a child or control lock set by a long press on the wrong pad, after which no key answers, a demo or showroom setting that lights the display and turns the plate while nothing warms, a Sabbath setting that dims the panel and mutes the beeps, or a clock left blinking after an outage that holds the keypad until it is set. No part is needed; a key sequence from the manual switches it off again. ### Usually leads to No repair On the KOTR30XV, press Power Level once, Start four times and Stop/Reset four times. ### Shows up as What a Microwave Error Code Is Telling You A microwave error code may be a letter and a number on the display, a lock or demo word, a row of dashes, or a beep with a blinking clock, and it can show while the microwave still heats or block every key until it is cleared. ### Make Bertazzoni A Bertazzoni microwave that has quit heating or started to spark gets a look in place, beginning with its model label and a cup of water. ### Source Bertazzoni KOTR30XV 30-inch microwave hood combination manual KOTR30XV: DEMO MODE. MO30STANE / MO30STANE24: DEMO ON DURING DEMO NO OVEN POWER. ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from Bertazzoni's own guidance for DEMO MODE on its microwaves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 On the KOTR30XV, press Power Level once, Start four times and Stop/Reset four times. 02 On the MO30STANE, touch TIMER/CLOCK, 0 and STOP/CLEAR, or unplug the unit and plug it back in. 03 Heat a cup of water for one minute to confirm it warms. 04 If the water stays cold with demo off, book a visit. ### Cleared? The code has gone and a mug of water heats again without a new part. If it comes back this week, or the food starts coming out cold in the middle, mention in the booking that it came back. ### What not to do Demo mode does not damage anything and is not a heating failure. If the display shows no demo wording and the microwave still does not heat, the problem is real and lies in the high-voltage section, which only a technician opens. ## What you may notice with it. On the KOTR30XV, press Power Level once, Start four times and Stop/Reset four times. ### Why does my Bertazzoni microwave run but not heat? Look for DEMO MODE or DEMO ON in the display first. In that setting the fan, light and timer run while the magnetron stays off. ### Is unplugging enough to clear demo on a Bertazzoni built-in microwave? On the MO30STANE the manual allows unplugging and replugging as a shortcut. On the hood model use the key sequence, since the plug sits in the cabinet above. ### Could a new Bertazzoni microwave arrive in demo mode? It can happen with display or showroom stock. If a new unit never heats and shows demo wording, clear the setting before booking a visit. --- **[Read on the site: Bertazzoni DEMO MODE: showroom setting, no heating](https://microwaverepair.center/error-codes/bertazzoni-demo-mode/)** **[Book a visit with MicrowaveRepair.center](https://microwaverepair.center/schedule/)**
